NOVEMBER 26, 2023 - - - The Bubba Roling Racing team closed out their version of the 2023 racing season at North Florida Speedway in Lake City, Florida on November 24-25 in the track’s annual ‘Turkey Trot’ event. Behind the wheel of his 602 Late Model in the weekend opener on Friday night, Bubba Roling ran second in his heat race and later started the 30-lap main event from the outside of the second row. After vaulting to the lead around the halfway mark of the contest, Bubba secured the $2,000 winner’s check for his tenth triumph of the year!
When Saturday rolled around, the #515 team had their sights set on the $3,000 top prize in the 604 Late Model program. Bubba stopped the clock third quickest overall during qualifying and later won his heat race to earn the pole position for the A-Main. The Clay Hill, Florida ace then led the early portion of the feature before recording an impressive runner-up performance in his season finale behind only victor Jason Garver.
