Bubba Roling Fourth in Visit to Waycross Motor Speedway

MARCH 1, 2024 - - - Fresh off their first triumph of the season, Bubba Roling and his #515 team unloaded their potent 602 Late Model on Thursday night, February 29 at Waycross Motor Speedway in Waycross, Georgia.  On the undercard of the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series special event, an $800 top prize was up for grabs for the 602s.  The action at Waycross was delayed more than two hours due to a mobile home moving accident, which took out power lines and lights around the facility.

Once underway, Bubba stopped the clock fifth quickest overall during the time trial session, but fast timer John Baker was forced to scratch from the remainder of the program due to mechanical trouble.  That allowed Bubba to start the 20-lap feature from the outside of the second row and that is where he ultimately finished.  The young Clay Hill, Florida native crossed underneath the checkers in the fourth position behind only victor Ches Chester, Steven Bryant, and Scott Waters.  Complete results from Waycross Motor Speedway can be viewed online at www.wayxspeedway.com.
