Bubba Roling Lands on Podium in Red Farmer Tribute Opener at TST

OCTOBER 6, 2024 - - - The Bubba Roling Racing team invaded Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama over the October 4-5 weekend for a pair of Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series throwdowns. On Friday night in the ‘Red Farmer Tribute’ opener, Bubba Roling laid down the fifth quickest time in Group A during qualifying to earn the rights to the inside of the fifth row for the start of the 37-lap main event. The Clay Hill, Florida native then roared past six competitors during the feature at “The Hornets Nest” to land on the podium in third behind only $3,700 victor Cory Hedgecock and runner-up Jake Rainey!

At TST on Saturday evening, a $6,000 top prize was up for grabs in the ‘Red Farmer Tribute’ finale for the 604 Crate Late Models. Bubba stopped the clock third fastest in Group A during time trials and later started the 60-lapper from the inside of the third row. At the completion of the contest, Bubba found himself in the seventh finishing position and still sits fifth in the latest version of the CRUSA point standings exiting Talladega Short Track.
