MARCH 31, 2024 - - - The ‘Southern Heritage Classic’ weekend took place at Needmore Speedway on March 29–30 and Bubba Roling entered a trio of different divisions at the Norman Park, Georgia facility. His best effort of the busy weekend came in the 602 Late Model class. After clicking off the fastest lap in his group during qualifying and winning his heat race on Friday night, Bubba rolled off from the outside of the second row in Saturday’s main event. The Clay Hill, Florida youngster was then able to blast up to the second spot to finish an impressive runner-up behind only $4,000 victor Jason Garver!
Behind the wheel of a Spec Late Model, Bubba vied for the $5,000 top prize during the ‘Southern Heritage Classic’ weekend. He timed in second quickest overall in qualifying, won his heat race, and later placed sixth in Saturday’s feature event. In the headlining Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series portion of the program, Bubba received a series provisional to gain access into the $10,000 to win A-Main, but was unfortunately an early retiree in the 50-lapper and was ultimately paid for a twenty-eighth place showing.
