APRIL 14, 2024 - - - The Bubba Roling Racing team trekked north and followed the Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series to Cochran Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 13 for a $10,000 to win throwdown. With twenty-nine 604 Crate Late Model competitors on hand for the single-day event, Bubba Roling started his night off by laying down the fifth quickest lap in his group during the qualifying session at the Cochran, Georgia venue.
Unfortunately, Bubba was involved in an incident during the heat race that led to an eighth place finish and the team pulling out the back-up car for the remainder of the evening. The young Clay Hill, Florida native utilized a series provisional and rolled off from the outside of the twelfth row in the 50-lap main event. Bubba then roared from the back of the pack all the way up to eleventh to salvage a decent points night for the #515 team. He currently finds himself tenth in the latest Crate Racin’ USA Series point standings exiting the Peach State. Full results from Cochran can be found online at www.crateracinusa.com.
