Pair of Top Fives for Roling in Needmore’s Gene Maine Memorial

MAY 12, 2024 - - - Following a washout of the program at Golden Isles Speedway near Brunswick, Georgia on Friday night, May 10, the #515 team invaded Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia on Saturday evening, May 11 for the annual ‘Gene Maine Memorial.’ With a $3,201 paycheck up for grabs in the 604 Late Model portion of the show, Bubba Roling laid down the fourth quickest time overall during the qualifying session and lined up starting the A-Main from the outside of the second row. The young Clay Hill, Florida ace eventually wound up finishing right where he started in the contest… in the fourth spot behind only winner Mark Whitener, Trynt Lloyd, and Joshua Bishop.

The Bubba Roling Racing team also entered their 602 Late Model in the ‘Gene Maine Memorial’ to battle for the $1,201 first place prize. Bubba knocked down the third fastest lap during qualifying to earn the inside of the second row for the start of the main event. He then moved up to the second spot during the race to capture a strong runner-up performance behind only victor Wiley McDaniel!
