Roling Fifth in CRUSA Points Following $10,000 to Win Governor’s Cup

JULY 14, 2024 - - - Following a few weeks away from the racetrack, Bubba Roling and the #515 team made the long tow to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi over the July 12-13 weekend. The Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series presided over the two-day Governor’s Cup at “The Mag” and 53 Crate Late Model competitors were on hand to vie for the $10,000 first place prize money.

On Friday night during preliminary action, Bubba laid down the tenth quickest lap in his group during qualifying prior to advancing up to seventh in his heat race. When the action resumed on Saturday evening, Bubba put on a show during his B-Main to claim the second transfer spot into the 75-lap headliner. After rolling off from the inside of the ninth row in the contest, the Clay Hill, Florida driver was able to improve four positions to leave Magnolia with a thirteenth place showing. Exiting the Governor’s Cup weekend, Bubba still finds himself fifth in the latest version of the CRUSA point standings. Full results can be found online by clicking on www.crateracinusa.com.
