Roling Pulls Double Duty in Rainy Super Bowl of Racing

JANUARY 27, 2024 - - - It was an action packed evening for Bubba Roling in the ‘Super Bowl of Racing’ grand finale held earlier this evening at Golden Isles Speedway near Brunswick, Georgia.  In the regularly scheduled events at GIS, Bubba timed in tenth quickest in his 604 Late Model before climbing three spots during the $2,500 to win feature to land in the seventh finishing position.  In 602 Late Model competition, Bubba stopped the clock thirteenth fastest in time trials and later steered past seven competitors during the $1,500 to win main event en route to a steady sixth place effort.

If that wasn’t enough racing for the #515 team tonight, Bubba also competed in the rain-postponed 604 headliner from Thursday night.  After qualifying eleventh fastest on Thursday, the Clay Hill, Florida youngster blasted past six racecars in the 25-lapper to place fifth at the checkers in the $1,500 to win affair behind only victor Carson Ferguson, Trynt Lloyd, Jeremy Steele, and Clay Harris.  Despite the rain, Bubba still had a successful weekend in nabbing a total of four Top Ten finishes in the four features that he ran at Golden Isles Speedway!

JANUARY 26, 2024 - - - Tonight’s racing action at Golden Isles Speedway near Brunswick, Georgia was wiped out by more inclement weather right before hot laps took to the racetrack.  The ‘Super Bowl of Racing’ will wrap up on Saturday evening and Bubba Roling will once again pull double duty in the grand finale!

JANUARY 25, 2024 - - - The three-day ‘Super Bowl of Racing’ extravaganza kicked off tonight at Golden Isles Speedway and Bubba Roling was in action in both the 604 and 602 Late Model divisions.  In 602 action, Bubba timed in twelfth quickest overall during the qualifying session and was in the eighth spot later in the night when rain shortened the $900 to win feature event.  Behind the wheel of his 604 machine, Bubba knocked down the eleventh fastest lap during time trials before the rain hit, which ultimately pushed the $1,500 to win A-Main back to tomorrow.
