Roling Pulls Double Duty in Southern Heritage Classic at Needmore

MARCH 30, 2025 - - - The #515 team ventured north to Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia on March 28-29 for the annual running of the ‘Southern Heritage Classic.’  In Crate Racin’ USA 604 Late Model Series competition, Bubba Roling timed in third fastest in his group during qualifying on Friday night prior to placing second in his heat race.  After rolling off from the inside of the third row in Saturday’s $10,000 to win headliner, Bubba ran as high as the second spot before eventually suffering a flat left rear tire on lap 36.  The Clay Hill, Florida ace got the tire changed and rebounded from the back to salvage a fifteenth place performance in the 50-lapper.

Behind the wheel of his 602 Late Model, Bubba qualified third quickest overall during Friday’s qualifying session and later secured a victory in his heat race.  He then started Saturday’s $4,000 to win feature from the inside of the second row.  Unfortunately, Bubba’s steering rack locked up early in the 30-lap contest and he was relegated to the twenty-first finishing position due to the mechanical woes.  Full results from the ‘Southern Heritage Classic’ can be found online at www.raceneedmorespeedway.com (Chris Anderson Photo)
