Roling Reaches Golden Isles Victory Lane for First Win of 2024!

FEBRUARY 25, 2024 - - - After a few weeks away from the racetrack, Bubba Roling Racing celebrated in victory lane for the first time in 2024 on Saturday evening, February 24 at Golden Isles Speedway, which is located near Brunswick, Georgia!  Bubba Roling started off the night by posting the fourth quickest lap overall during 604 Late Model qualifying to earn the outside of the second row for the start of what was scheduled to be a 25-lap feature event.

Bubba then made his way to the front of the field on lap six and held the point throughout the remainder of the caution-plagued race.  When the checkers were thrown due to time limit after only sixteen circuits, the Clay Hill, Florida ace was awarded the $5,000 paycheck over a top five that included runner-up Colton Trouille, Mark Whitener, Kam Boyd, and Bubba Whitener!

Earlier in the ‘Deuces Wild’ weekend at Golden Isles, Bubba vied for a $2,500 top prize on Thursday night, February 22.  He laid down the ninth fastest time during the 604 Late Model qualifying session prior to winding up eleventh in the final rundown of the A-Main.  Friday’s competition at the 4/10-mile speedplant was unfortunately washed out by inclement weather.  You can find full results from Golden Isles Speedway by pointing your web browser to www.gisdirt.com.
