APRIL 21, 2024 - - - Bubba Roling and the #515 team were in dirt-slinging action at both Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia and I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee over the April 19-20 weekend. At Needmore on Friday night, Bubba was busy in two different racing divisions. Behind the wheel of his 604 Late Model, Bubba timed in tenth quickest overall during qualifying prior to vaulting past four cars during the $1,500 to win main event en route to a solid sixth place showing. With a $1,000 top prize up for grabs in the 602 Late Model class, the Clay Hill, Florida ace stopped the clock fourth fastest in qualifying before blasting to second in the A-Main to record an impressive runner-up performance behind only race winner Koulten Herbert!
At I-75 Raceway on Saturday evening, the Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series presided over a $4,000 to win shootout. Bubba only mustered the fifteenth fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session, but later blitzed all the way up to fourth in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the ninth row in the 50-lap headliner, he was able to pass four competitors on his way to a fourteenth place effort. Exiting the Volunteer State, Bubba now finds himself eighth in the latest version of the CRUSA point standings.
