DECEMBER 1, 2024 - - - The Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Series schedule wrapped up on November 29-30 in the annual ‘Turkey 100’ at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia. On Friday night during preliminary action in the Peach State, Bubba Roling laid down the third quickest lap in his group during time trials before placing second in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the fourth row in Saturday’s $10,000 to win finale, Bubba was running in the fifth spot when he unfortunately ran into problems and retired on the 24th lap in the twenty-fourth position.
Due to the disappointing finish, Bubba wound up fourth in the final version of the Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Series point standings behind only champion Jimmy Thomas, Matt Dooley, and Matt Henderson. In 602 Late Model action over the weekend at Swainsboro Raceway, Bubba stopped the clock seventh quickest in his group during qualifying before advancing three spots in his heat race to finish fourth. With a $5,000 top prize up for grabs in the A-Main, the Clay Hill, Florida ace blitzed past twelve competitors to land on the podium in third behind only victor John Ruggiero, Jr. and runner-up Cameron Tribble!
